‘PD수첩·김민선', 광우병 소송서 승소… “손해배상 이유없다”

MBC 'PD수첩'이 광우병 쇠고기 편 관련 소송에서 또 승소했다.

서울남부지법 민사합의15부(김성곤 부장판사)는 9일 ㈜에이미트 등 미국산 쇠고기 수입업체가 배우 김규리(개명 전 김민선)와 문화방송, 조능희 PD 등 'PD수첩' 제작진 5명을 상대로 낸 손해배상 청구 소송을 기각했다.

앞서 미국산 쇠고기 수입업체는 자신의 미니홈피에 "광우병이 득실거리는 소를 뼈째 수입하느니 청산가리를 입안에 털어 넣는 편이 낫겠다"고 쓴 김규리와 PD수첩 제작진을 대상으로 3억원의 손해배상 청구 소송을 제기한 바 있다.

하지만 지난달 20일 서울중앙지방법원이 명예훼손 혐의 등으로 불구속 기소된 MBC PD수첩 ‘광우병 보도’ 제작진 5명에 대해 전원 무죄 판결을 내렸고 이어 금일 서울남부지방법원에서 열린 선고공판에서도 승소한 것이다.

이에 따라 6개월을 끌어 온 공방을 마무리 짓게 될 전망이다.
